The devices are equipped with four studio-quality microphones with improved noise reduction, designed for both vocal and acoustic recordings. Spatial audio capture is also included. A new “Audio Mix” feature uses machine learning to separate background noise from speech. Additionally, a Voice Memos update, coming later this year, will allow users to layer multiple tracks over their original recordings, which could be useful for musicians.
